Dearest Lord God,

today is the day that your heart have triumphed in my life,

today is the day that your grace finds fulfillment.

Even as I have wallowed in grave sinfulness,

even when as I have chosen to refuse your love,

even as I have brought upon myself many reasons not to be loved,

reasons not to be called,

reasons not to dignified by your calling

you dignified me yet again and again in the

constancy and faithfulness of your call.

You have chosen the sinful I am,

accepted and consecrated the sinful that I am,

you have accepted the sinner in me

and you have turned a blind eye to my sins

and to my enormous capacity to fail.

Your mercy have lead me each day,

your faithfulness tracked a pattern for hope,

your power leads me to humility and awe.

You have called me to this day,

the journey was rough yet so full of meaning,

the journey was dark at times yet you sent people to light it,

the journey was lonely and depressing most of the time, yet you were always there.

I know you will be faithful as you've always been, from here onwards through the rest of my days.

Today, a blessed day indeed, I shall make myself yours until my last breathe,

to the last of my strength.

Today I shall lay prostrate myself before the great mystery that you are,

befor the Altar from which life flows and for which my life is given and called.

Today, shall humble myself before your altar,

I have nothing,

I am nothing,

I am without value.

I beg you Lord, in my humility, may I be an instrument of yours to your people.

May I be your generosity to your people,

May I be your love for your chosen ones,

May I be your light to your witnesses,

May I be the hands that will make you present among the people each day,

make you present in the suffering and pain,

May I be the instrument of your sacrifice day by day.

Today, I shall lay prostrate.

Stripped off my earthly glory yet flowing with your mercy and compassion.

I pray Lord, my Master, send me and make me strong.

Send me to your people and make me your resplendent light to guide them.

Today to forever Lord.

Amen.
